Who We Are
The California Workforce Association is a non-profit member association representing all 45 Workforce Development Boards in the State of California, alongside over 70 affiliate members from labor, education, industry, government, and community-based organizations.
Our boards serve as the broker and convener of the local workforce system. Established by the Workforce Investment Act and expanded under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), we bring together diverse stakeholders to develop demand-driven strategies that connect regional economies and labor markets.
